Infant/Child CPR

Facilitated by Jason Nery
This course is designed to empower parents and caretakers to prevent, assess and respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies for children up to 6 years old. Participants will receive individualized instruction and will practice skills with infant and child manikins. Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably, as exercises are performed on the floor. Please note - In order to ensure that parents and caregivers receive optimal hands-on training, we ask that babies and children not be brought into class.

About the Instructor
Jason has provided health education to youth, adults and in-service training to medical personnel for over 11 years. He is currently a Health Program Planner / Disaster Preparedness Liaison for the County of San Mateo, as well as an Instructor for the American Red Cross. As a former preschool teacher and current nursing student, Jason has a passion for empowering parents to help children reach their highest potential.
