C-Section Scar Massage Workshop
One of the little discussed concerns with having a cesarean section is scar tissue buildup. Scar tissue build up can happen anytime a wound is created in the body. Scar tissue buildup can cause all kinds of health concerns including fascial shortening, bunching and tensions that can produce long-term postural and function imbalances in the body. Whether your cesarean was planned or unplanned, it's important to care for your scar. In this 30 minute workshop we will discuss what happens during a cesarean, why you should do scar massage and how to do scar massage. Come at any stage in your pregnancy or post partum to learn about a small way to nurture yourself.
