New Mother's Circle

For Mothers with Babes in arms (up to around 6 months)
You are invited to participate in a NEW MOTHERS CIRCLE. As you have noticed, motherhood brings huge changes! Being able to share your joys as well as your challenges with other mothers in a sacred safe space can make a huge difference in your own sense of wellbeing as well as your ability to mother your child the way you really want to.
The NEW MOTHERS CIRCLE will be a series of 6 sessions, which will meet weekly for 2 hours at NATURAL RESOURCES (Valencia and 25th St). Each session will be facilitated and have a focus which will allow for transformative understanding, deep connection with yourself and with the other mothers, and practical advice.
Circle 1: Joys and Challenges of Mothering so far.
What in your birth experience can you draw from to Strengthen your Mothering. What in your Birth Experience do you Need to Heal to Move Forward in Your Mothering.
Group Guidelines
Circle 2: Your Changing Body from the beginning of your life as a female to now.
Appreciation for the Miracle and Power of our Bodies.
Circle 3: What you want to Bring Forward and Leave Behind from Your Own Mother. What are you Grateful for and what might you need to Forgive?
Creating an altar to Honor Our Mothers
Circle 4: A Ceremony for Blessing the Babies . Who are they? What do they bring , Where did they come from, How did they come to us?
Our Children as Teachers: What are you Learning form your Baby?
Circle 5: Joys and Challenges in your Relationship with the Significant Other with whom you Parent. Learning to Improve Communication. And/or what are the joys and challenges of being a Single Parent?
Circle 6: Mothering in Community. How to maintain Support. What does Support look like for you? Appreciations of each other as Mothers.

The New Mothers Circle will be facilitated by Yeshi Neumann, CNM, MPH. Yeshi is a Certified Nurse Midwife with over 35 years experience attending births in both home and hospital settings and has a Masters in Maternal Child Public Health. She is the founder of Homestyle Midwifery , a unique blend of home and hospital birth care, voted Best Way to Have a Baby in 2007 by San Francisco Magazine. She brings to her work with mothers her deep study of birth around the world, her experience with meditation, bodywork, nonviolent communication, conflict resolution, sound healing, emotional release work, and hypnotherapy. Yeshi is a mother and a grandmother of two. She is a regularly invited speaker at national and international conferences about birthing, parenting and communication.
