This workshop is for Doulas and any service provider working in the childbearing year, including student midwives, birth photographers, lactation support providers, nannies, placenta encapsulators, childbirth educators, agency and collective founders, and more.
Being a doula means not only taking on an exciting and caring profession, it means starting up your own small business. What many doula trainings often don't have time to cover fully is how to go about writing a solid contract that fits the needs of you and your clients and protects you from unpredictable situations.
This 4 hour contract writing workshop taught by a doula with a background in legal research and freelance contract writing will help you create an individualized contract that covers all your bases. This class is great for any newer birth or postpartum doula, or any birth worker who feels they need some extra guidance on adjusting their contract.
-The “Details” tab holds specific information regarding each session in this series.
-Facilitators are professionals who may have their own private practice. They may use their discretion to determine whether an additional fee is needed when their expertise is solicited outside of class.
