  • Class Description

    Group is for parents with pre-crawling babies & is held IN PERSON at Natural Resources weekly on Thursday.

    In this safe and supportive, facilitated group, all parents of new babies are welcome to share and connect around your transition to your new role as a parent, changing family relationships, and the vast spectrum of emotions that arise in new parenthood.

    Please Note:

    -Content covered in these sessions is included in the Details section below.
    -Pre-Crawling babies are welcome! or you can come alone.
    -We will follow all CDC and City of SF Department of Public Health COVID-19 guidelines.
    -Masks are required for all adults in attendance.
    -Comfort Items: Natural Resources has chairs available for use; however, you may find you and your baby are more comfortable with support pillows and mats and/or blankets brought from your own home.
    -Snacks and drinks will not be supplied by Natural Resources.
    -Safety protocols are subject to change based on Federal and Local ordinances.

    IMPORTANT IN-PERSON POLICY: If health and safety concerns warrant it (uptick in COVID-19 infection, poor air quality due to wild fires, etc) all in-person classes may be moved to a virtual format. Refunds and rescheduling, would not be offered in these circumstances. By signing up for in-person classes you are agreeing to this stipulation. We reserve the right to make this change at our discretion

    Parents often have questions including, but not limited to those in the following list and can receive suggestions for resources and advice from the facilitator (within the scope of practice) as well as draw upon the greater wisdom of the group:

    -Infant care
    -Breastfeeding
    -Emotional and physical recovery after birth
    -Sleep
    -More!

    It is a place to share about whatever is on your heart and mind surrounding parenting -- and is an opportunity to meet other new parents and form lasting friendships.

On the leadership team of Natural Resources she works to build a sustainable organization that can continue serving families now and into the future. Additionally, she is a certified prenatal yoga instructor, trained group facilitator, and mother of 3.
