Amy Clark is a Registered Nurse and Board Certified Lactation Consultant. Since 1995, Amy has worked in a variety of healthcare fields and brings a wealth of medical knowledge to the Natural Resources team. Amy is dedicated to offering "best practice" guidelines for breastfeeding and infant nutrition, as well as realistic goals for families.
Beth Rees is a practicing doula and educator serving the San Francisco Bay Area. Beth has been working with women and families for over 20 years and serving as a doula since 2006. She works with moms/parents, partners and families in developing support tools that reflect the uniqueness and needs for that particular family and transition in a compassionate, nonjudgmental, mom/family centered space. Doula Beth is a Certified Doula (Natural Resources) & Certified Lactation Educator and Counselor (CLEC via UC San Diego). She has special training with Five Flavors Herbs and American School of Herbalism, Gail Tully of Spinning Babies, Rachel Yellin in “Supporting the Hypnosis-Based Birth,” “Tracking Spirit in the Birth Environment” with Isa Gucciardi, Ph.D, and UCSD Extension Lactation Educators certification with Gini Baker, RN, IBCLC, MPH, and Elizabeth Davis’ “Heart & Hands” midwifery intensive. Doula Beth is experienced in perinatal herbal medicine, acupressure, moxabustion, labor and breastfeeding massage, breastfeeding support, newborn care and parenting, mindfulness meditation, breath and vocalization techniques, and postpartum nutrition. Beth creates home in San Francisco with her spouse and 16 yr. old bonus son.
Shalini Shah is a prenatal educator, lactation counselor, and full spectrum doula who has been working with expectant families for over 10 years. Throughout her career, she has supported over 1,500 families in navigating the pregnancy and birthing process.
Her pragmatic evidence based approach offers expectant parents the opportunity to tap into their intuition and navigate their options to make the best decisions for their families. Shalini believes pregnant people should birth where they feel comfortable, safe, and empowered and supports clients birthing at home, in hospitals, and at birth centers. She is down-to-earth and compassionate in her care, bringing a steady sense of peace, joy, and humor to the process.
Shalini is proud to work with people of all identities and family structures. She is passionate about supporting the BIPoC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) community and created BIPOC In The Bay, a community resource network that increases visibility of BIPoC birth workers in the Bay Area.
Shalini is also the owner of Due Dates, a healthy date-based snack company designed for pregnant and postpartum parents.
Shalini lives in San Francisco and loves cooking, gardening, and exploring nature as an avid hiker and cyclist.
Tracy Massillon is a mother of two, Educator, IBCLC, and Registered Nurse. She began working with birthing and new families as a Birth & Postpartum Doula in 2003. She joined the Natural Resources family of educators in 2005 and created the curriculum for our Childbirth Preparation, Breastfeeding, and Newborn Care & Parenting classes. In 2009, she became an IBCLC (Board Certified Lactation Consultant). She has facilitated our weekly Breastfeeding Mothers Circle for over 10 years and enjoys supporting mothers as they learn to nourish and nurture their babies.
Tracy is passionate about families receiving Doula support and trains new Birth and Postpartum Doulas with the goal that everyone will have access to compassionate and evidence-based support.
