Lactation Support - Fenugreek, an herb* that has been used for centuries by women to support lactation. It is the galactagogue most recommended by lactation specialists and medical professionals to help women with their milk supply. Fenugreek works by stimulating the sweat glands; a woman's mammary glands are modified sweat glands. (Please see below for additional usage info).
Healthy Fats - Coconut , which is high in healthy fats and lauric acid, and Ghee, a nourishing clarified butter that has been used in Ayurveda for thousands of years, is rich in vitamins A, E and D & butyric acid - a short-chain fatty acid that is good for intestinal support. Both these fats can help to improve the fatty composition in breast milk.
Protein - Almond meal which is high in protein, calcium & omega-3 fatty acids.
Joint and Muscular Support - Featuring two specialized Ayuverdic herbs*: Peepramul, traditionally used to strengthen the joints and ease pelvic and lower back inflammation, and powdered Acacia Gum, which is traditionally used to promote muscle flexibility and energize the body.
Healthy Digestion - Ginger can ease gastro-intestinal discomfort and Poppy Seeds, containing folate, iron, zinc and linoleic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid, can help with constipation.
