Gentle Cesarean is designed for parents who have elected to schedule a cesarean section or for those parents who have been told it is a possibility due to medical reasons and who want to play an active role in the birth of your baby.
Taught by one of our Childbirth Prep educators, this workshop will provide you with knowledge and practices to assist you in creating an intentional and holistic birth experience.
This class educates parents who are likely to have a Cesarean so they are able to better understand the processes surrounding the birth of their child.
Topics of discussion will include:
-Preparation in Pregnancy
-Creating Your Birth Plan
-Signs of Labor
-Preparing for Surgery
-Gentle Cesarean Options
Our goal is to create a nonjudgmental and safe environment and give you the information you need to feel empowered throughout your birth experience.
-The registration fee includes a birth partner/support person.
-We recommend taking this workshop in place of Childbirth Prep 6 Week Series or Childbirth Prep Intensive if you have already confirmed a cesarean section for your birth.
