  • Class Description

    This group is for toddler parents and is held IN PERSON at Natural Resources bi-weekly on alternating Wednesdays. On off weeks, we often coordinate social playdates at local parks via our Whatsapp group.

    Are you raising a toddler? Join our Parents Circle for toddler parents and primary caregivers on alternating Wednesdays at 4:45pm. Toddlers are identified as moving/walking and typically between 1-3 years old.

    Note: if you have a younger baby we recommed our New Parent Circle: Growing Babies on the alternate Wednesday.  You are also welcomed to attend this toddler groups (just be aware our kiddos are active!). 

    In this safe and supportive peer-facilitated group, all toddler parents are welcome to share and connect around your continued transition into parenthood.  We'll connect around all the excitement and craziness that comes with raising toddlers who are discovering their feelings, words/expressions, opinions,  and increased independence.

    Please Note:

    - The content covered in the sessions is included in the Details section below.
    - Moving toddlers are welcome, or you can come alone! We offer play structures and toys to keep toddlers occupied.

    Parents often have questions including, but not limited to those in the following list and can receive suggestions for resources and advice from the peer facilitators (within the scope of practice) as well as draw upon the greater wisdom of the parent group:

    - Sleep routines and struggles
    - Tantrums, big feelings, and emotional development
    - Feeding toddlers & picky eating
    - Work/family balance
    - Potty learning
    - Language development & communication
    - Social connection & activities
    - Preschool/TK research and evaluation
    - Parent/Caregiver mental health, identity, and sef-care
    - LIfe admin and navigating the mental load
    - Maintaing personal relationships with those you love (partner, friends)
    - And whatever else is top of mind!

    Our Toddler Circle is a place to share whatever is on your heart and mind surrounding raising a toddler- and an opportunity to meet other new parents to form lasting friendships.
