Lauren Brown
Education & Programming Director
Lauren Brown (she/her) is a Bay Area native who has been providing therapeutic massage, doula services, and childbirth education since 2007. She has been part of the NR facilitation team since 2018.
With certifications from Doulas of North America and Alive and Well! The Institute of Conscious Bodywork, and as a graduate of the National Midwifery Institute, Lauren brings both deep knowledge and compassionate care to her role at NR.
When she’s not supporting families through birth and bodywork, Lauren enjoys yoga, rock climbing, playing Balinese gamelan, and, most importantly, being a mom.

ERIKA WARREN
Attorney at Warren Kash Warren
Erika is a litigator and avid reader of cookbooks. Natural Resources was the source of great support and friendships during both of Erika's pregnancies, and taught her everything she knows about babies.
Sue Baelen
Sacred Body Midwifery, Licensed Midwife, Certified Professional Midwife
Avid fan of Natural Resources since 1992. Has always been involved in community-building including The NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt and the San Francisco Homebirth Collective.
Jessica Straus Fuchs
Jessica brings 15 years of experience in tech, venture, nonprofits, and government. She has worked as COO at Poppy Flowers, Director at Carta, Entrepreneur in Residence at GE Ventures, the National Venture Capital Association and started her career as a Congressional staffer. She is the mother of 2.
LAURA VENTURA
A people leader with 20 years of global experience in HR and Recruiting. After being in-house and helping scale several start-ups (Uber, Clever, Lime), she started her own consultancy called Talent Partners where she continue to work with Series A-D companies. She attended the Natural Resources Birh Doula Training in 2025.

An energetic and data-driven marketing & operations leader with 18+ years of GTM experience spanning. Morgan is also a peer-facilitator for the Natural Resources Toddler Connections Circle.
Berkeley McKeown
Berkeley is a strategic finance and operations leader passionate about building transformative and enduring businesses. With experience in venture-backed startups and investment banking, she blends big-picture vision with hands-on execution to build strong foundations that empower teams to grow with confidence.
