Pay Using Your HSA/FSA Card

Natural Resources has partnered with Flex to enable qualified customers to check out with Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

Many items are always eligible to be purchased using your HSA/FSA card, others require a Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN)

The checkout page MAY default to Shopify's "Express Checkout" Method "Shop" or "ShopPay".

You can NOT USE Shop(Pay) to pay with your HSA/FSA debit card!

If you do not see the "Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA" payment option look for the "checkout as a guest" link at the bottom of the checkout page to access it.

At checkout, select Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA as your payment option.

Instead, look for the "checkout as a guest" link at the bottom of the checkout page to access the "Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA" payment option.

If you are purchasing items that require a "Letter of Medical Necessity" (LOMN), you will be prompted to complete a brief telehealth consult to confirm your eligibility to pay with HSA/FSA. You must select a condition to receive the LOMN. There is a $10 fee to provide you with the LOMN. It is valid for additional purchases for 1 year.

From there, enter your HSA or FSA debit card details and complete your checkout as usual.

How to Check Out with HSA/FSA

Select Flex at Checkout

Choose "Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA" option (below "Credit card" in the Payment Section. You may need to "checkout as a guest" to acess the Flex option. The link will be at the very bottom of the page

What is a Letter of Medical Necessity (LOMN)?

A Letter of Medical Necessity is documentation from a healthcare provider stating that a product or service is medically necessary for treating or preventing a specific condition. This letter allows certain items to be purchased with HSA/FSA funds.

How much does the telehealth consult cost?

Flex charges a one-time fee of $10 for the telehealth consult and Letter of Medical Necessity. This letter is valid for all eligible purchases for one full year.

What if my cart has both eligible and non-eligible items?

No problem! At checkout, you can use split payment. Your HSA/FSA card will cover the eligible items, and you can use a different payment method (credit card, debit card, etc.) for items that aren't HSA/FSA eligible.

How long does it take to receive my documentation?

Flex will email you both your Letter of Medical Necessity and itemized receipt within 2 hours of completing your purchase.

Do I need to save my documentation?

Yes! Keep all documentation (Letter of Medical Necessity and itemized receipts) for your records. Your HSA/FSA provider or the IRS may request this documentation to verify eligible purchases.

Can I use my HSA/FSA for all products at Natural Resources?

Not all products are HSA/FSA eligible. Some items are always eligible, others require a Letter of Medical Necessity, and some items cannot be purchased with HSA/FSA funds. Browse our curated collections above to find eligible products.
