Natural Resources Doula Certification team recognizes that the act of processing and discussing clients/cases with peers provides a rich learning opportunity. Therefore, you may include up to 3 hours of peer review in the total requirement of 15 hours of professional development in the birth/postpartum/newborn field during each certification period. We recommend bringing challenging and complicated cases to be reviewed with a peer group. For the purposes of Natural Resources Doula Certification, we require that a peer review include at least 3 other currently practicing Doulas who all agree to client confidentiality and to keep the identity of your clients anonymous.
