CLASS DESCRIPTION

  • Community Latch-On

In Honor of Black Breast/Chestfeeding Week

Hosted by Amita Graham (MSN, MPH, CNM, WHNP, RN, IBCLC) at Natural Resources

    Free for All

A community latch-on is a powerful act of public solidarity, reclamation, and mutual care. It is a moment where we gather to normalize human milk feeding in public spaces, break down isolation, and demonstrate that we are each other’s ultimate support system. This synchronized feeding is a living celebration of health equity and collective strength.

Join us on Saturday, August 29th, from 3:00–5:00 PM at Natural Resources (1051 Valencia Street, San Francisco)! Hosted by midwife and lactation consultant Amita Graham, this completely free event welcomes anyone breastfeeding, chestfeeding, pumping, or actively protecting Black families, including partners, loved ones, and birth workers. Gather in community, share space, and uplift the village. Lite bites, drinks, and portraits provided.
