Class Description
This class is equally useful for parents just entering the toddler stage (12 months+) and those who are already deep in it.
Toddler-hood is a time when the rubber meets the road for many parents. Suddenly we have a little person on our hands with a powerful will, poor impulse control and an avalanche of strong feelings. Our toddlers can push us to our limits and cause us to wonder at how to do this parent thing.
Using tools drawn from respectful parenting approaches like RIE® and Hand in Hand Parenting, this workshop will help you understand what your toddler is experiencing, how his or her brain works, and what she or he is developmentally capable of in this tumultuous and tender time.

-We kindly ask that you arrange care for your little one, so you get as much as possible out of this wonderful class.
-Each adult attending must be registered. Caregivers of the same child receive a discounted rate.
-Facilitators are professionals who may have their own private practice. They may use their discretion to determine whether an additional fee is needed when their expertise is solicited outside of class.

Caroline Griswold is the founder of Fertile Ground Parenting and works with families throughout the Bay Area and beyond. She helps parents find greater joy and connection with their children and greater alignment with one another. She is passionate about bringing more ease and confidence to parenting, and facilitating respectful communication between parents and babies from birth.
