    Topics covered include:

    -Your rights and responsibilities as an employer, including employment laws, wages, sick leave & work agreements
    -Recruiting, screening, and interview questions to hire the right candidate
    -Health, safety, and background check requirements
    -Ideas on how to create a positive, long-term relationship with your employee
    -We will also discuss the unique aspects to create a successful share care arrangement. This is a great opportunity to meet other families who are interested in share care in your area.

    Checklists, forms, and support materials will be provided. The Nanny Manual by Alyce Desrosiers will be available to supplement the workshop materials.
