This course is specifically designed for grandparents, extended family members, and dedicated caregivers who wish to support new parents with compassion, understanding, and up-to-date knowledge about newborn care and gentle parenting philosophies.

-We kindly ask that you arrange care for your little one, so you get as much as possible out of this wonderful class.
-Each adult attending must be registered. Caregivers of the same child receive a discounted rate.
-Facilitators are professionals who may have their own private practice. They may use their discretion to determine whether an additional fee is needed when their expertise is solicited outside of class.

Caroline Griswold is the founder of Fertile Ground Parenting and works with families throughout the Bay Area and beyond. She helps parents find greater joy and connection with their children and greater alignment with one another. She is passionate about bringing more ease and confidence to parenting, and facilitating respectful communication between parents and babies from birth. A lifelong educator, Caroline was inspired to pursue certification in Magda Gerber’s Educaring® Approach (www.rie.org) after experiencing how this respectful parenting approach transformed her relationships with her son and partner.
